Sarah is a licensed social worker who earned her Master of Social Work from Aurora University in 2023. She brings a unique and compassionate perspective to therapy, shaped by spending much of her adult life as a first responder. This background has given her a deep understanding of trauma, high-stress environments, and the resilience people develop in the face of adversity.
Her work is rooted in a strengths-based approach, focusing on each client’s existing abilities, values, and capacity for growth. She enjoys working with trauma and utilizing evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to help clients build practical coping skills, increase emotional regulation, and foster long-term healing. Sarah is passionate about helping people feel empowered, supported, and understood as they navigate life’s challenges. Her goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where clients can recognize their strengths and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
